Mabon, also known as the Autumn Equinox, is a magical moment in the Wheel of the Year, taking place in September when daylight and darkness balance each other perfectly. Celebrated as the second harvest festival, Mabon is a time of gratitude for the bounty of the earth and a recognition of the need to conserve and share this bounty to survive the winter months. It's a time of reflection, to look back at the hard work of the past and savor its fruits. During this period, we're called to find balance within ourselves and harmony with the natural world, mirroring the equilibrium of light and dark happening in nature.
